Midcentury Reimagined

A residential remodel for a growing family sought to highlight the home’s midcentury architectural character while introducing a more open and functional layout. The kitchen was reconfigured with a central island, opening seamlessly to the dining room for everyday living and entertaining. Careful attention was given to preserving the unique features of the home while updating spaces to meet the needs of the new owners.

The master suite was redesigned to maximize efficiency, adding a walk-in closet, a bathroom with double vanity, skylight, and a warm wood accent wall. The shared bath was modernized with a tub, shower, and vessel sink, while an existing bedroom was transformed into a home office with new storage and lighting. A new hearth revitalized the existing wood-burning fireplace.

Throughout the home, custom millwork, integrated storage, and distinctive lighting fixtures were introduced to blend midcentury details with contemporary comfort, creating a space that feels both playful and highly functional.
